TRAINEE QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our team and develop a long-term career within the construction industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Quantity Surveying, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of construction projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of project cost estimates and budgets
-
Supporting the measurement and valuation of works
-
Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and materials
-
Helping to prepare subcontractor packages and purchase orders
-
Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance
-
Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
-
Maintaining accurate project and commercial records
-
Supporting the commercial team with day-to-day project administration
-
Attending site visits and client meetings where required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

Keen to build a career in construction and quantity surveying

Organised with strong attention to detail

Numerate and confident working with figures
-
A good communicator with a positive attitude

Willing to learn and develop new skills

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Desirable Qualifications / Experience
-
A-levels, BTEC, T Level or degree (completed or working towards) in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related subject

Previous experience in construction or an office environment would be beneficial but is not essential

Full UK driving licence preferred
