Increasing upstairs space
The owners of this house in Tiverton, which had two Dorma windows in the roof, wanted to join them together to increase space upstairs.
When we met with the owners of this property, they had to stoop down in order to walk beneath the ceiling on the landing. The proposal was to remove the area between the two Dormas to create one, long Dorma window. This increased the head height all the way through the upstairs hallway.
The finished project has now given the clients a whole lot more room on the landing and no more stooping. All with the addition of bespoke windows, locally made, a more modern EPDM roof and upgraded insulation values. This has provided a much more unified look to the property.
